Hi, I'm Sachiko!

I am a practitioner of yoga in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar.  My classes are informed by what I have learned from my teachers in this lineage as well as from my own practice over the last 20 plus years. Iyengar Yoga is known for its systematic cultivation of alignment and focus. It is clear and concise in instructions, dynamic in sequencing, and inventive in adapting to students’ age, ability and needs by modifying poses.  Over the years of practice in this method, I have developed flexibility, strength and stamina.  I am much more grounded and resilient mentally and emotionally.  I assure you that yoga will gift you with these benefits and more if you keep at it.
