CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
  • Midweek Grounding
    This one-hour class provides an opportunity to ground the body & mind in midweek through a sequence that focuses on executing foundational asanas in a systematic and classic way.  There is so much that “just doing the poses” reveals to us.  Each week, a particular category of poses is featured. You will develop a good grasp of the system of yoga practice that B.K.S. and Geeta Iyengar laid out for us.  The class is perfect for all levels of practitioners including beginners.

    What are the foundational poses?>>
  • Restorative
    This gentle paced class aims to guide you to develop a well-rounded yoga practice for deep rest and rejuvenation.  Some yoga experience is recommended.
  • All Levels​
    ​
    This class is designed for people with some yoga experience. It is perfect for those who want to solidify their understanding of foundational standing poses and develop a wider repertoire of poses (inversions, back and forward extensions, abdominals, twists) while building strength, stamina and flexibility. Headstand and Shoulder stand are taught but modifications and alternatives are also given for those who do not practice these poses for any reason.
